LC Meters, based on their class, are versatile and suitable for a wide range of fluid types including: 

Class 1: Refined petroleum products such as gasoline, fuel oils, motor oils, diesel fuel, kerosene, ethylene glycol, and propylene glycol at rated capacity.
Class 2: Aviation Fuels including Jet-A, Jet-A1, JP-8, Avgas fuels
Class 3: Liquid Sweeteners and Syrups such as Dextrose, Fructose, Sucrose, Maltose, Lactose. Also Corn Oil, Soy Bean, Cotton Seed and Coconut Oils, Shortenings
Class 4: Treated waters such as potted, deionized, and demineralized water, windshield washer fluid and solvents where no red metals are allowed
Class 8: Acidic pH Liquids including nitric, phosphoric and glacial acetic acids, fruit juices, vinegar, distilled water
Class 10: Liquified Petroleum Gas [LPG] including propane, butane, isobutane, pentane, ethane, and refrigerants.
Class 12: Anhydrous Ammonia (NH3)
Class 14: High Viscosity Liquids such as crude oil, LACT, NOD, heated and/or viscous liquids including: animal fats, resins, #6 oil, non-abrasive asphalt emulsions.
Class 16: General Solvents, methanol, xylene, naptha, acetone, MEK, MIBK, and alcohols (including 200 proof ethanol)
Class 18: Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF): Diesel Exhaust Fluid, is composed of deionized water & urea. The urea in DEF solution is used by the engine’s SCR system to convert smog producing chemicals into simple nitrogen and water.
