Regardless of temperature, viscosity, or pressure, Blackmer® S Series Twin Screw Pumps are self-priming, double-ended positive displacement pumps that provide exceptional performance in the most demanding applications. Applications in the chemical process, general industrial, transportation, and commercial marine markets are all well-suited for this sturdy screw pump range.
There are numerous configurations for S Series pumps, such as vertical, horizontal, high temperature, high pressure, and high viscosity. These pumps may operate at differential pressures of up to 60 bar (870 psi) and flow rates of 0.5 to 2,500 L/min (2.2 to 11,007 gpm). Viscosities ranging from 0.5 to 200,000 mm2/s (cSt) and temperatures up to 350°C (662°F) are handled by S Series twin screw pumps.
S Series Twin Screw Pumps With Timing Gear (WTG)
Self-priming, double-suction twin screw pumps using timing gear transmission and exterior bearings. They work particularly well for delivering fluids that are either barely abrasive or devoid of particulates.
S Series Twin Screw Pumps With Non-Timing Gear (NTG)
A single-suction design that adjusts for axial pressure on the hydraulic components using a balancing piston. There is metal-to-metal contact between the casing bore and screw profiles. Bitumen and residual oil, which have higher viscosities, can be transferred with these pumps at medium or high temperatures.
S Series Multi-Phase Twin Screw Pumps
Multi-phase twin screw pumps are long-lasting, dependable, and strong, and they are made for medium- to low-pressure applications in the commercial maritime and oil and gas industries. These pumps, which were made for applications requiring higher suction and differential pressures, are frequently utilized in oilfields with untreated streams.
