Compatibility with Competing Pumps
The G Series Internal Gear Pumps boast interchangeability with as much as 95% of the presently utilized mechanically sealed, packed, and seal-less internal gear pumps. Notably, this interchangeability comes without the need for any modifications to piping, driver, baseplate, or coupling. These pumps, available in cast iron, carbon steel, and stainless steel options, are meticulously crafted to seamlessly replace various models of competitor pumps.
Direct Replacement Parts Interchangeability
The components of the G Series are specifically engineered as direct replacements for a range of Viking® pump models, including H, HL, K, KK, L, LQ, LL, LS, Q, and QS. Universal Design Seal Chamber with Robust Oversized Bearing Housing
Featuring an oversized bracket and seal chamber, the G Series accommodates various sealing technologies such as packing, mechanical seals, and lip seals. The substantial cast-iron bearing housing allows for the removal of mechanical seals without necessitating the removal of the gear pump from service.
Jacketed Pump Options for Process Reliability
Exclusive to G Series G2-55 - 222 cast iron models, jacketed pump components efficiently heat the seal area and pump internals. This ensures the maintenance of process temperature and integrity during operation. The jackets provide enhanced temperature control, preventing product hardening and potential seal damage upon startup. Additionally, this feature allows for faster startup compared to a cold pump.
