SAMPI RVP Pumps

The self-priming, rotary vane RVP-Series pumps have an inbuilt by-pass valve to safeguard the pump and system from overpressure. A rotor rotating inside a cam that is eccentrically machined in reference to the rotor makes up the sliding vane pump. The vanes that slide up and down from and to the rotor as it rotates move the liquid forward. The sophisticated polymers used to make the vanes for the RVP Series pumps have extraordinarily low coefficients of friction. The self-adjusting vanes help the pump last longer by compensating for wear. Originally intended for use in fuel and light petroleum applications, SAMPI RVP Pumps are efficient, can handle flammable liquids, and require less horsepower than other pumps of comparable size.

On mobile systems (road tankers):
