The Woltmann water meter series, model WDE-K50, is compatible with the non-magnetic pulse emitting module (IWM-PL4), which has a wide range of applications for remote reading in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
It enables the integration of sophisticated counting and fraud detection features, allowing third-party systems with a universal interface to acquire meter consumption data.
By using an inductive target on the meter, magnetic fraud is eliminated and the application is rendered insensitive to pipe vibrations.
For a constant flawless alignment between the counter and counter clock, consumption analysis (with incremental and decremental counting) and reverse flow compensation can be activated.
Examining frauds (reverse flow, application of an external magnetic field, and cable cutting and removal).
An specialized impulse contact can be used to check for reverse flow.
Available for industrial applications is a dedicated dosing function.
The module can be used for meters located in difficult situations thanks to IP68 protection*.
High configuration flexibility is provided by the NFC interface, which also enables setting the output pulse ratio independently via a smartphone app (available ratio values include multiples of the index value) and configuring the output pulse duration in accordance with the sensitivity of the acquisition system.
