The LectroCount LCR 600 electronic meter register from Liquid Controls is microprocessor-based. Its main duties include configuring the meter system to the characteristics of the metered liquid, interacting with the electronic parts of the meter system (as well as external parts like pumps, injectors, and shutdown devices), and carrying out custody transfer procedures that have been approved by Weights & Measures.
The LCR 600 has a sizable display, an intuitive user interface, improved capability, and a sizable platform that can accommodate custody transfer applications that are specialized to the industry, like FlightConnect for aircraft fuelling and Point-of-Sale (POS) for customer-direct gasoline delivery.
The LCR 600 has the ability to control meter systems either independently or as a slave to a host controller like a process controller or in-cab data management system. It is an independent unit. The red selector switch and the alphanumeric keypad can be used to do all operation, setup, and configuration tasks. There is no requirement for lap pads, computers, or other data entry tools.
